With medical check-ups and double training sessions, Boca Juniors began their preseason with an eye on a demanding and exciting 2026. The first official match is scheduled for January 25 against Riestra at La Bombonera, followed by the start of the Copa Argentina and, later on, the eagerly anticipated return to the Copa Libertadores de América. In this way, Edinson Cavani began his 20th year in top-flight football, following his memorable debut with Danubio of Uruguay on April 9, 2006.
